About UKIYOE AIUEO

Hello, I'm a Japanese creator and art manager, born and raised in Japan.
I've worked internationally, organizing exhibitions and events that introduce Japanese culture to the world.

Now I live in France and I'm raising a bilingual child. Wanting to share my heritage with my son in a fun and engaging way, I created a picture book that combines ukiyo-e and hiragana.

This experience inspired me to start a new project. My goal is to help people around the world enjoy learning Japanese and discovering its culture through beautiful visuals and storytelling.

I create everything myself — the animation, stories, and music — with care and love.

このプロジェクトは、日本生まれ・日本育ちのクリエイター／アートマネージャーが、ひとりで運営しています。これまで世界各地で、日本文化を紹介する展覧会やイベントの企画に携わってきました。

現在はフランスに暮らし、バイリンガルの子どもを育てています。
息子に日本語と日本文化を楽しく伝えたいという想いから、浮世絵とひらがなを組み合わせた本『浮世絵あいうえお　ひらがな本』を制作しました。

その経験から、浮世絵の美しいビジュアルとストーリーテリングを通して、日本語や日本文化を世界中の人々に楽しく学んでもらいたいという願いが生まれ、UKIYOE AIUEO プロジェクトがスタートしました。

アニメーション、ストーリー、音楽など、すべてをひとりで心を込めて制作しています。
